| 提取 | 报告-extracted.pdf |
| 删页 | 报告-trimmed.pdf |
| 旋转 | 报告-rotated.pdf |
A:不会。
A:不会。

Choosing an Operation
"Split PDF" is really a family of page-level operations. Pick by the result you want:
| Mode | Input → Output | Typical use |
| Every N pages | 1 file → several equal files | Fixed-size distribution: 300 pages split by 50 for six people |
| Custom ranges | 1 file → several unequal files | By chapter: pages 1-12 in one file, 13-20 in another |
| Extract pages | 1 file → 1 new file | You only need the signature page and the pricing page |
| Remove pages | 1 file → 1 slimmer file | Drop blank, duplicate, or voided pages |
| Rotate | 1 file → 1 turned file | Batch-fix landscape-scanned pages |
The first two "one-to-many" modes zip their outputs automatically; the three "one-to-one" edits download a single PDF directly.
Range Syntax in Detail
"Custom ranges", "extract", "remove", and "rotate" share one page-range syntax:
2 → page 2
1-3 → pages 1 to 3
1-3, 5 → pages 1-3 plus page 5
1-3, 5, 8-10 → three parts: 1-3, 5, 8-10
The rules:
- Comma-separated: English commas, Chinese commas, enumeration commas, and semicolons all work.
- Pages start at 1: matching the page field in your PDF reader.
- Ranges go small-to-large:
5-2 is invalid; the tool points at the offending part.
- Out-of-range fails loudly: page 15 in a 10-page file is rejected, so you never get an empty file.
One special rule in "Custom ranges": overlapping ranges merge — 1-3 and 2-5 become 1-5, so every page lands in exactly one output file.
These two are easily confused. One line: extract means "keep only these pages"; remove means "drop these pages".
- From a 300-page contract you need the signature page (4) and pricing page (40) → extract
4, 40 for a 2-page file.
- A 300-page report has blank pages (11, 87) → remove
11, 87 for a 298-page file.
Rule of thumb: few pages to keep → extract; few pages to drop → remove — shorter input means fewer mistakes.
Bulk Rotation for Sideways Scans
Wrong feeder direction or mixed phone-scan orientation leaves pages lying on their side. Rotation takes two parameters:
- Which pages: empty means all; or a partial range like
3-7.
- Angle: clockwise 90° / 180° / 270°. A page lying 90° sideways becomes upright with 270° (counterclockwise 90°).
Rotation writes the page's own /Rotate attribute — every reader and printer honors it, so viewing and printing both come out turned, with no manual settings afterwards.
Output Naming & ZIP
Output names are self-explanatory (source file: report.pdf):
| Operation | Output names |
| Every N / custom ranges | report-1-3.pdf, report-4-6.pdf, report-5.pdf (single pages omit the range) |
| Extract | report-extracted.pdf |
| Remove | report-trimmed.pdf |
| Rotate | report-rotated.pdf |
Multiple outputs are zipped into report-split.zip; unzip and the files sort themselves. Everything runs locally in your browser — files never touch the network.
FAQ
Q: What does "1-3, 5, 8-10" mean?
A: Three parts: pages 1-3, page 5, pages 8-10. Commas separate parts; a single number is one page; a hyphen joins a range; pages start at 1.
Q: Does splitting change content or quality?
A: No. Splitting only moves pages — no re-encoding, no scaling, identical content and quality.
Q: Do overlapping ranges duplicate pages?
A: No. Overlaps merge automatically (1-3 and 2-5 → 1-5), so each page lands in exactly one output.
Q: How do I split a PDF into single pages?
A: Set N to 1 in "Every N pages"; outputs are zipped automatically. Watch the output cap (200 here).
Q: Extract vs remove — which one?
A: Extract keeps only the pages you list; remove drops them. Few pages to keep → extract; few to drop → remove.
Q: Will printing respect the rotation?
A: Yes. Rotation is written to the page's /Rotate attribute, which readers and printers both honor.
